Project Description: Renovating the existing chiller plant. The PCG team was tasked with performing removal, disposal and replacement of existing air conditioning refrigerants, finishes, structural framing, electrical, plumbing and mechanical system equipment and components. During early project construction PCG identified that the existing infrastructure related to chilled water piping would not support the increase in pipe size required in the design. We re-designed a new structural concrete layout and a new structural steel structure that would support the increase in chilled water piping size. Our efforts ensured the completed project would be fully functional without risk of structural failure.
