Immaculate Conception Catholic Church
SCOPE OF WORK: Paramount provided demolition, new drainage and new walkways and stairs for the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. PCG demolished the existing brick paver patio at the front of Marian Hall, two existing catch basins, existing adjoining drainage pipe, and the existing water-damaged drywall. Site work included excavation, proper negative slope grading from building, backfill of trenched area, and sod as needed. The PCG team then filled and capped the existing drainage pipe, and relayed the brick pavers in appropriate patterns.
Following demolition of the existing “streetscape” stairs and handrails, PCG performed the excavation for new streetscape stair footings and elevation grading. The PCG team then formed, poured, and finished the new concrete. Pavers were installed in a herringbone pattern on the landings of streetscape stairs, and CMU cheek walls and knee walls were constructed with brick veneer caps. Finally, stucco was applied over CMU knee walls of streetscape stairs. Metal handrails were added and new light poles were placed, including electrical wiring, on either side of entry plaza.
